Sponsored LinksActivis implemented a multilingual content management sytem on the Alsace Region Tourism Committee's website two years back.
In 2010 the site was again updated and enriched with a new graphic charter created by Advisa and with new content and functionalities.
For this new version, interactivity and user customization were highlighted. Aside from a reservation platform using the LEI base (a tourist lodging database), the site allows the user to create and share a travel log and to visualize his itinerary using Google maps. Numerous services are available on the site: RSS feeds, a newsletter, on-line booking etc.
Its structure is suited to any future evolution. Fully translated into English and German, the site also provides content in other languages via mini-sites managed using Direct News.

Due to technical specificities, our pages did not appear on search engines, or, when they did, at the bottom of the ranking. This generated many criticism and frustration within the company. Thanks to Activis’s indexing campaign, we have managed to completely reverse the trend! Today, for most of the chosen research terms, we are ranked in the 10 first results. We have certainly been able to witness the increase of traffic on our pages.
